Can anyone recommend a speaker who does a lecture and a workshop about color? I would like to find someone from Michigan but any names you recommend would be considered. I'm the program planner for our guild and I'm trying to get someone different and hopefully we would all get something from this kind of program. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If it's more color you're looking for and not anything specifically quilting related, maybe you could bring someone in from outside the quilting world - like an art teacher?

I was hoping to incorporate color and design into the discussion in regards to quilting

I'd try all my LQS's to see who they thought would make great presenters for programs.

Other people to try for color presentations: I try some decorators, or artists, or art teachers.

I was looking through her site the other day and that is what got me started thinking about this. I only wish she was closer. I was trying to keep a theme for the year of Made in Michigan, but I guess I might have to go outside the state. I'll keep looking. thanks.

Here are some links to help with your search. The guilds and shops near you could be contacted for possible references for a teacher.

Contact the nearest community college and talk to someone on the art faculty.
