No I did not, but I will add that to my store of computer knowledge. Thanks.

Dina, on my laptop I hold down the control key and the plus sign key and this will enlarge the font, to make it small again, hold down the control key while holding down the minus key. Hope this works for you.

That was my happy accident for the day!
My son turned me on to spellcheck when I got into computers. I need a dictionary just to spell my name. When I was in school, the latest thing was to teach sight reading and spelling. My problem is my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be.

thanks for the tip. Very familiar with Word's spell checker, but didn't know that there was one one here. Must not work when you use quick reply. Will have to try the other reply and mispell something.

I could never understand why you use a dictionary to look up how to spell words. If you don't know how to spell a word how can you look it up?
Is the work qute or cute? phy. ed or fied? I think you understand what I mean.

Me either. I too have spell check on my email and in Word but can't seem to get it to this site. I have very little computer skills and that always adds to my frustrations.

Well I was really brave and downloaded Firefox 5 (not very computer savvy) so that I could get the cool spell checker. But it doesn't work! I have checked under tools and it's there in the advanced tab, but I've just deliberately written a misspelled word and no red lines. I am so disappointed.

Edit, I just checked the help section, and I downloaded the English (UK) dictionary, and I now have red wiggly lines! But how do I get to somewhere that will give me some alternatives for the right spelling, or allow me to add a word? Right clicking isn't doing that. Still it's nice to have the lines.
