I have the book cut, than go and buy some page protectors and a binder. That way I can take out a page for my copier and put it back and it stays nice.

I have a lot of my books done that way but it has never cost more than $2.50!

I use this so often on quilt books and piano music that I bought my own binding machine and do it myself. It was somewhere around $50 I think .

I had no idea you could even do this. I bought a desktop hole punch and some reinforcing stickers for the holes and a 3-ring binder. I have more than one book in a binder but they lay flat. I will check this out next time I want my book to lay flat and not break the binding.

I did this for my embroidery software manual. They don't give books with software anymore. I copied the Help file to a USB drive then took it to copy place for printing and binding. I hate having to switch between the help screen and what I am trying to do. Book was so large they had to divide it and bind in 2 sections. But it's worth it.

I do that to most of my books...well worth the cost.

Actually, maybe worth my while to buy one and do my own...now that so much on computer sties can be printed out too.....you can tell I prefer hard copy to screen-reading/ doing!
