    The "spiral eye" needle is made in the USA. The Sench is from the same inventor and same design but made overseas. I have read that the quality is not the same. I use the spiral effectively to bury threads from machine quilting. I would not sonsider them for hand sewing as they are thicker than other needles.

    Quilt 30- the Spiral Eye 8 that I bought feels just like a regular needle.
