Spiral Table Runner

Just a reminder of what I said on this Board a day or two ago - I realize now that the pattern is NOT out of print and you can find it and the wedge ruler at the following website: www.phillipsfiberart.com
Thanks to everyone for their lovely compliments - my head is quite swollen!!!

A separate binding would be very difficult to do, not only because of color choice, but because of the narrow almost-pointed ends, so I do an "envelope turn" (right sides together, stitch all around leaving an opening of 4 - 6 inches, then turning it out and hand-stitching the opening closed) and then after gently pressing it and coaxing all the edges out, I machine-stitch all around about a half-inch or so from the edge - I use a quilting needle, and the width of my walking foot is my guide to keep the stitching even.
I also found the directions intimidating and have a few tips and tricks I could share if anyone wants to PM me. Not sure I can give this one away because I like it so much myself!!

You will need the longest one for this project - mine is the one marked 3 1/4" at the bottom (narrow end)and 25 1/4" at the top (wide end) even though the actual length of the ruler is 22 1/2" - strange, but it works!!

Beautiful colors on both side. I think the autum one is so colorful and the best one.But then the winter one in the summer would cool you off just looking at it. Decisions.. Decisions????? Which to use first.......... LOVE IT Beautiful job well done....

I have the 10 degree ruler which makes the runner finish at about 22" x 42" but I have been told that using a 9 degree ruler works the same except that the runner will be very slightly smaller.
