Spray glue for Sandwiching??
#11
There is a U tube video of a quilter who uses 505 spray quilt basting and actually bastes her quilt/batting/backing while it hangs on a wall (covered with ceiling tiles that you can use tacks to hold the backing). If I can find it I will post the name. Seems to work very well.

some people love basting spray, some have problems with it. it is always worth trying new things to see how they work and whether or not they help YOU.
do not go to the hardware store and buy spray adhesive...it is a permenent bond will stiffen your project and is IMPOSSIBLE to sew through--gums up needles (if you can get them through it)
there are a number of different basting sprays on the market, if you do a search on 'basting spray' you will be able to see what brands others like, don't like, and the why's.
they are available at lqs' , joannes, michaels, hobby lobby...ect.

I recently got some basting spray at Joannes that had a green top, fumes wheren't as nasty and worked great.
I put backing on table and tape it so it won't move, batting and then top, fold back and spray half of backing and then smooth the batting onto of backing, spray the batting and then smooth top onto batting, then do the other half. good luck.
