Sq in a Sq triangles to cut?
#13
One way is to cut a block the same size as your finished block. Put them faces together (right sides together) and sew all around the outer edge with 1/4" seam. It works easiest to just sew each side from edge to edge, rather than pivoting at the corners.
Draw lines diagonally from corner to corner each way. Cut the triangle fabric from corner to corner with sharp pointed scissors, being careful not to cut the quilt block underneath.
Press open.
