Default St. Patrick's Dresden Border Choice

I'm rethinking my border choice for this quilt after all the wonderful advice I received from every yesterday for my bandana dresden quilt. Do you think I should use a transition border between the white and green? What do you think about black then finish with black binding?

This is for my sister. She was born on St. Patrick's day. She knows I made something for her even though I'm late.

Thanks for all your amazing advice!

I like the dots and call it finished. My sister was born on the 4th of July, but no quilt from me yet.

definitely black binding. and a bit of black would be nice too but you'd have to unsew! yikes. lay it out and see how it looks to you. Great quilt!!!

I think it looks great as it is. What a beautiful quilt. Your sister will be thrilled.

So pretty the way it is. Are you the Dresden Queen? Your plates are super. Makes me want to make one even more. BrendaK

A narrow black flange would look super. I love your Dresdens.

The edge borders make a good spot to show off your FMQ skills. Lori Kennedy at http://www.intheboxjaunt.com/ has a cute little shamrock design that would be perfect. Great top!

Yes, I think a little flange or tiny border would add extra oomph, although it's pretty the way it is too. Depends on how much more work you want to get into.

Do a dresden corner. Look me up on the other thread that shows this pattern in yellow and red where I have put a link to the one I mean.
