    Default Sta Flo liquid starch

Walmart and other stores I would find this don't have any. The website for Purex says it is not available. I read on Facebook it was to be discontinued. ? It's been made for decades so I can't believe it wouldn't be made any longer. I hope it is a supply problem.

You can still get it if you don't mind buying online:

i don't need any just surprised it may not be made anymore. Before we moved the local grocery sold the 1/2 gallon size jug for .98. I bought a jug everytime I went there. I haven't bought any in about six years. My husband didn't understand me moving the bottles of starch I had. It is still good. I have about 2 gallons left.

Wow I can't believe the price of it now. That's ridiculous.

At this point it's much more cost effective to make it ourselves from scratch, for pete's sake!

No wonder the stores stopped stocking it. No one was buying it at those prices.

I don't think the price is that bad. I realize it is a product that has been around for a while and used to be less expensive, but.... Best press is over $52 for 1/2 gallon if you calculate the 16 oz bottle people don't seem to have any problems paying for.🤔

Starch is less expensive than the newer ironing sprays but the huge price increase for what starch is needs a really good explanation for me to think it is reasonable to pay it.

I picked up 3 bottles at Walmart just 2 weeks ago. I like to keep a stash of it on hand as I never know when I'm going to be starching a bunch of fabrics. Just finished starching a 6 yard piece last week. What fun it was to try to press it.

It is in all the stores where we are staying (texas at the moment) and at least off the shelf a real bargain in my book.
