Stabilizer confusion
I'm constructing a block for a sew along my guild is doing based on the Moda Be My Neighbor idea. I have some specialty fabric with images of candles I'm using but need to enlarge the pieces.
I'd like to use gold organza to back these little pieces so it appears there is light in the windows and they are the correct size but am confused about what to stabilize the organza with. The organza pieces with the candles fused to them will be sewn to other pieces in the block. Should I use Heat and Bond lite? Interfacing?

Heat n bond lite is not a stabilizer. I would use a lightweight non woven fusible stabilizer on the organza to keep it from fraying, stretching and give it ( stability- body) then if you want to use heat n bond to fuse it to the pieces you are going to appliqué it to that would work. Heat n bond lite washes away so your appliqués are not stiff, wouldn't keep your pieces stable.
