I've used Bethany S. Reynolds' book MAGIC STACK-N-WHACK QUILTS (publisher is American Quilter's Society) for the Half-Square Triangle Magic quilts. It was easy. Of course I did a lot of reading and re-reading of the instructiions. My only problem was figuring out the yardage. I had planned on a larger quilt, but didn't purchase enough fabric. Instead of returning to the fabric shop, I decided to go ahead and make it with what I had. That was three years ago and the quilt top is done, but not quilted (one of four).
