    Can anyone out there tell me what on earth a stack and wack is please. I keep coming across this term .

    It is a method of cutting the fabric for a set of quilt blocks by layering several thicknesses of a repeat of a print, then cutting them all at once and putting them together in a kaleidoscope type design.

    If you do a search on this board for 'stack and whack', 'one block wonder' or 'OBW' you will get lots of threads talking about the technique and at least one tutorial that I know of.
