    when you are sewing the diamond to make star how do you get the middle to lay flat?

    Try pressing the seams open as you join them. I also put a drop of water on both sides in the center areas and press down firmly with my dry iron until it is dry. :D:D:D

    Fan the seams at the center. That is, press them all clockwise or counter-clockwise. This spreads out the bulk. Also, as someone else mentioned, place a single drop of water on the center when you press.

    thanks for all information it seems to be better just time consuming and I need 30 blocks but they are 12 inh blocks again thanks
