    Pastels are difficult for me to use, too--but after seeing your block, I am going to buy some (I will let a daughter choose the fabric) and make a disappearing nine patch, too. Your picture is so pretty--piecefully, the old one

    I am not seeing the two blocks clearly....are you using the first 9 patch in the second picture? I would like to try this pattern but right now I am confused. Maybe they are two separate blocks. please respond. Thanks, Sharon
