Yep, have started mine already too. Didn't get hardly anything made last year. Spent most of my time taking care of my DH after a work injury plus several trips out of state helping with my ill Mother ( we lost her over Thanksgiving) that I just didn't have it in me. Last year was a rough one for me, but the good Lord carried me through it all. I usually have everything finished by Sept., so that is what I am working for this year. I have three fancy fabric bowls & three scarfs already made. Planning several quilted fabric boxes & more fabric microwave bowls. The microwave bowls have been a big hit with everyone & they all want more of them.

Nammie to 7, you could adopt me, I love the knitted & crochet hand towels but don't like the high prices

zennia we are sew much alike, I'll bet I have at least 70+ patterns downloaded & I'm still a beginner. So I've been working hard at not downloading anymore, and really cut down on my fabric purchases BUT seeing this is giving me a push to go buy up some Christmas clearance fabrics for table runner gifts for friends.

I am still working on a quilt that was a gift for this Christmas. I am making a quilt for my DD and SIL to use in their living room. I have 5 blocks finished. They are 20 inch blocks. I can't remember how many I need. I am finishing up a baby quilt then I can get back to it.
I am not organized enough to even know what I need for next Christmas. Good for you.

I want to get a jump start as well and no problem doing it is just what to do. Just this last Christmas I did finish a quilt, made several of the quilted zipper pouches ( a huge hit with the girls) pillow cases and quilted potholders, folded star and the faux chenille. I am really looking for suggestions for new projects. I will be following this post for days to come. Any pics and patterns to go with suggestions or at least where to get them. I really want to make ornaments but not a clue what is pretty and EASY.

Well I enjoy reading this thread. I am thinking about making some pillow cases along the way for couples for next Christmas. I also need to make myself some. lol.... I plan to work on a quilt for our queen size bed along the way with everything else this year. I also would like to make some little zipper make up bags for great nieces for next Christmas.

I think I'll join you. I have started on some UFO, one down so far. Know I need to make a list for Christmas.
