My daughter in law did something like that one year. Besides other presents we exchanged she bought me and my husband a little zipper travel bag, and put several of the mini's of shampoo, conditioner, hand cream, shower gel, etc. to have on hand to put in a bag or suitcase if we went anywhere it would be there. I made her one year for her birthday a bag with things to just relax that day. I put in a couple of her favorite magazines, some of those soothing fuzzy socks, her favorite candy, etc. She loved it.

Classes for Christmas classes begin in may in my local shop. Me I don't like all the advertising etc for Christmas. Some of us have OUR special day then and tend to be forgotten in this mad rush.
I love the quiet of the church and prayer first thing in the morning and the rest of the day to sew.
