How do I find the end of the thread? This always puzzles me! When I try to get a new spool started, I can't always find the starting end. Am I just too dumb?

The snap spools have the end under the snap cap. I love those. The bigger size spools the end is usually underneath a few threads in the winding.

Thank goodness! I thought I was the only one with this problem! I'll watch for more solutions, as I've tried lots already!

Yeah, I am not alone. Nice to know someone else has the same problems with new threads. Thanks for posting.

I must be dumb too, cause I have the same problem. I have wasted more than 1 spool of thread from frustration.

It drives me crazy too. I've even tried using tape to get the starter to pull up.
