I prefer "fat" but buy by the yardage when I can so I have extra.

Usually I go 1/2 yard cut, if funds are tight and I am trying to stash build, I will do 1/3 yard cut at LQS. Online, I can make do with 1/4 yard.

RST, no shops usually charge more for a fq than a wof quarter. One shop I go to charges 2.75 for a fq even if the fabric is less than 5 or 6 dollars a yard. Do the math,so I usually buy yardage no fq.
