I think there is a math issue :
    Fat quarter - 18 X22= 396 sq inches
    Skinny quarter 9X 44= 396 sq inches

I prefer the fat. The beautiful Moda Christmas fabrics you let us see a few weeks ago, are they available for purchase yet?

There are more options with fabric selections with the skinny. Will buy what I like and pocketbook allows...fat, skinny and inbetweens!!!

Hard to pick a favorite. More is better.

Depends on what I'm making. Usually I buy fat qtrs., but sometimes I need full width strips.

Prefer at least 1/2 yards, but if a buy a quarter, I want it fat.

Skinny, definitely! I do a lot of strip piecing but love a scrappy look, so skinny long quarters work best for me....but I usually buy 1/2 yards or maybe more if I really love a fabric!
