I love your stash, and how you've found places for it. Good thing your DH is tall.

Thank you so much for noting the extension cord. I do watch it very carefully. The outlet is behind the shelf and I need power for my iron. I'm not big on extension cords, but there wasn't any alternative. I don't want to even think about a fire and not just because of the fabric.

Congrats!! I just spent 2 months organizing mine too. After seeing your stash, I am going to remain on my quilt diet, however I went to the Dallas Quilt show last week and fell off the wagon a bit. I have enough projects to do. Counted all the kits put together. Some from my stash, some I bought and that comes to 45. Plus I have 10 tops that I have to sew the backings for and quilt. I do have the backings with them tho. That there will keep me busy for God only knows. Funny thing.....when I was cleaning/organizing, I would get up ready for the day and work so hard. But it was so satisfying and now that it's almost done........I got the blues, kinda like when Christmas is over with. That just doesn't sound sane does it? I have a huge pile of ironed scraps to cut and organize. That's what started this whole mess anyway. I got an Accuquilt so I could organize my scraps BUT, I had to organize and clean the room FIRST!!! I am so crazy. katie

Your room is so neat and organized. I am envious. One thing I would like to point out, is that the fabric right next to the window and bright sun, is going to fade if it isn't covered.

No, you're not crazy. Yes, as happy as I was when it was done it was like "Okay, now what?" Today was fun, did get to do some sewing; of course, I did it wrong and have to rip it out, but hey I'm sewing.

WOW, you do have lots and lots of fabrics. You need to quilt real fast to make a dent in it.

What a great job organizing your sewing "center". Your hard work paid off and you'll be more relaxed and productive now.
