After two months of work I finally think I know what I have and my DH is right, I have too much fabric. However I love every little inch of it and plan to spend as much time sewing as I did organizing.

Much of the help came from fabric storage boards and hints I picked up from the members of this board. Thank you one and all.

Doesn't it feel great just to get it organized? I'm almost there. I see that you have a lot of novelty fabric. It's challenging to use up, isn't it? Good luck!! At least you can see what you have and can work from there!

what a task - what a great hubby you have to 'put up' with your hobby.

I love the stash on the guest room bed - if I come to visit will you notice if I stick it all in my suitcase?

Love your fabric stash and now neat it is. With the prices of cotton going higher the stash is money in the bank.

You are welcome anytime! I might if there are little corners hanging out of the suitcase, otherwise if you can get it in your suitcase...

I'm so gonna show this to my DH. He never complains but he thinks I have a lot and I did too but not anymore. You did a great job of organizing.
