One thing I am doing to cut down on my stash (to make room for more) is making lap quilts to donate. I have made two for Quilts for Kids and one to donate to my church nursery. Project Linus and Quilts for Valor are other organizations that always need quilts also. The material you don't care for anymore might make a great quilt to give away.

Can you believe mine just grew
all by itself??? Really, I just
made 14 throws for my family for
Christmas gifts one year, and the
    leftovers just kept growing!!! LOL
    I don't have a huge stash, but it's
a couple of totes. How does that
    happen??? Hugs, Sharon

How much? It can be a little; shoebox? or totes full. (I have both; lots of shoe boxes and lots of totes.
I agree, most of mine is just too love to cut up! I am thinking I collect fabric only to look at it and touch!

Maybe it's just where I am right now but I feel like downsizing just about everything ... machines, thread, furniture, "stuff" of all sorts. Maybe I'll get over that soon?!?!
Everytime I downsize, I then wished I had kepted everything or at least some of it!

I got a closet almost full, I guess that is a nice stash! Got more cabinets I could fill.
