I really need a step by step guide to making a "Folded Log Cabin" quilt pattern. I'm so new at this I don't even understand the language of quilter's. Please, does anyone have a pattern for this beautiful quilt?

anything you need to know, you can find by googling it, or go to the 'help' area at the top of this board's website. I have not made a folded log cabin as yet - going to check it out!

I found this on you tube - I'm sure it'll help!

Think I'd do another pattern. Not really for a novice.

Wow never seen that one before...Different affect, good luck seems pretty easy but a definitely a thick quilt!! That uses double the regular fabric used, I would try it and see if you love it with a test block. I would think great for scraps but to invest in fabric for that design would seem like a waste for me personally. Love to see it finished!!!

have you ever heard of "foldy stuff"? this sounds like something that you are talking about. http://quiltwithdonna.com/foldystuffpagea.html essentially, you buy muslin that already has the pattern on it. then, following the easy directions, you can make your blocks. besides a log cabin, they have several other patterns.
