You have a model 66 singer, made 11/3/1920. You should use a class 66 bobbin.

P.S. Your needle should be threaded from left to right.

Some vintage machines do not use standard sewing machine needles. I learned this when I worked for a sewing machine repair guy who wasn't always in the shop and he taught me afew things to look for to trouble shoot for customers

You can get class 66 bobbins online. Is yours a metal bobbin with 4 holes on each side?

    Here's an online link: http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/bob...2222-10pk.aspx

I think you can probably still get class 66 bobbins and Singer machine needles at Wal-Mart.

Lostn51,Billie told me to get bobbins and needles at Wal Mart, which I did. The package of bobbins says they are for Singer 66 models and the needles are size 15.
