    I got bobbins from sewclassic and they were a bit better made than the ones from Walmart - good price also

    Go to mySINGERstory.com, put in the serial number, it will give you the details about it and will print a certificate for you. You also enter to win the 160th anniversary Singer.

    If you go to SingerCo.com, you can print a FREE manual.

    Mine did that and I eventually had to take it to the shop, my timing was off. Works like a dream now.

    try taking the needle out and put it back in making sure it is all the way up and tighten

    You may find that the needle you are using is too short.
