I agree. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Go for it, if it works for you, you learned something new. I don't particularly like paper piecing, find it too confining so I avoid it as much as I can. Some love it. I get all up tight when someone says, you HAVE to do it this way.

I love this site. And, I agree that all questions are useable to someone.

I now know why I have lost half of my eye brows because of this site. Who would have thought! Love it and all the questions and answers.

I agree. I have learned so much on this board by other people asking questions. Keep the questions coming.

When I used to teach I always quoted Ann Landers.

"Do not be afraid to ask dumb questions, they are easier to handle that dumb mistakes."

No one is "stupid" because of his or her questions. I know that I've learned tons from reading other people's questions that I didn't even know to ask myself.

So what about it, let's stop putting ourselves down!

When I do teaching of any kind, I always start the class by saying: "There are no stupid questions. By asking questions, you show you are interested, paying attention, and eager to learn. Someone else may be thinking the same thing you are, so you are doing them a favor by asking." In my practice as a nurse, I always told my patients that when we stop learning we start dying. I really believe learning new things is important to our health and well being.

i do a lot of training at work, and i am NOT good at it.... i tell everyone i train " i an a lousy trainer, i've been doing this for 30 years, and it is so second nature to me, i may blow right by something not realizing i didn't make it clear. so stop me and ask anything you need to, there are no stupid questions." when you tell someone they have to ask.. they don't seem to be afraid to interrupt.
