Storing rulers...
#202
I bought peg board and my DH framed them out for me and we painted them funky colors and I have several scattered around my sewing room for rulers, templates, stencils, and other quilting tools. They are all in site so I can find what I need quick and don't forget that I have them with them hanging on the peg board.

I use those removable stick on hooks, the ones with the silver hook on them.
I have three of them on a wall, they hold rulers, and one even holds my cutting mat.
If I change my room around, I just move them, no marks or holes in the walls.

Me too! I have a walk-in closet in the bedroom that I've converted to my quilting room. They hang on a wall by size and they are easy to see as well as quick to grab! Love having them so handy!!

My BIL (DH's brother) mad me a slotted rack to hold a dozen or more rulers. from a board (he used 1/2 - 3/4 inch plywood)
sliced part way through at an 45 angle. ( can be painted to match wall). Then mounted on the wall into the studs. (just be sure the slots are thick enough for the rulers. not too thick or the rulers will not stay.

I bought a file holder from Wal-Mart to hold my Accu-quilt dies in. It holds 8. Paid $6.97. Really like it and alot cheaper than Accu-quilts ones. Went back and bought another one yesterday. I have my rulers on a peg board behind by sewing room door. It holds all my rulers and it is so much easier to find the ruler I am searching for.
