    I'm so relieved to discover that my experience with Storm at Sea - lots and lots of fabric - wasn't unique. Fun to make, though.

    Check Amazon for used books when you are thinking of buying a book and I usually buy at least 4 extra yards of fabric for a quilt I am making for two reasons - one just to have enough and the other is to make coordinating pillowcases. Good luck.

    Like knlsmith said. ANd I always buy extra fabric to allow for shrinkage also.
