Strange Occurance with Design Wall
#34
My design wall is made from a huge sheet of microfleece, pinned to the wall. The blocks stuck much better after i folded the sheet in half. So maybe the folded layers were a factor, cushier = clingier?

I use flannel back tablecloths from Walmart $5.00 get the largest one they have and tack it on the wall I have 3 of them on the walls since I do retreats at my home. you need to smooth the blocks on the flannel. I have almost a whole quilt up on one now until I ran out of room at the bottom. it is all staying there... good luck..

Ok, I was enjoying my new design wall last night but then found my little stinker had also found a way to enjoy it - my kitty was rolled up in the bottom! Wish I could get a picture.
I'm going to try the basting spray today (just picked some up yesterday).

I tried fleece yesterday and I don't have big enough pieces.

I discovered that when my design wall was hanging loose the ceiling fan moved it enough to shake the blocks off. When the A/C kicked on it would do the same thing. My design wall is now rigid and I don't have that problem. A whole quilt top will stick to it!
