    Default String Blocks questions

I saw this posted on another site... Has anyone use string blocks in a D-4P block using two solid blocks and two string blocks to begin with. Sounded interesting - however maybe too busy - probably depending on fabric choices and color strength. Just wondering if anyone has tried this.

Do you have a link to show this quilt? I haven't tried it but it sounds interesting. Taming the color chaos is a challenge.

Jean, sorry there was no photos -- it was just a question like I asked. Maybe someone here has tried it tho. -- thank you for your response. We will have to keep watching. Happy New Year

Thank you very much. The link worked just fine for me -- lots of ideas. I am kind of thinking about a 4-patch two solids and two string. May have to just jump in and see what happens.
    Thanks again
