    Default strings

    I have a tremendous amount of strings, quilt fabric, left over blocks I need to get rid of suggestions ?? free

    I'd delete this post and make a new one in the right forum for giving and donating stuff.
    I'm not looking for anything right now, but have bought many scraps and selvedges here I Always pay for shipping

    You could look up Free-Cycle on line and see if there's a group in your area. It's a website that facilitates giving and getting things for free. That's how I found the person who takes all of my scraps and stuff. Or, you could check with guilds and church quilting groups in your area.

    Put in a box bin and take to nearest thrift shop, donate the bin with the scraps. The shop won't have to sort it or rebin it. I donate to Helping Hands thrift shop and it is really helpful to have the items ready to sit out. Habitat appreciates it too. I don't donate to Goodwill they toss fabric pieces and keep the bin.

    yes offer free here or contact quilt store near you for quilt guild names. they might take all of and be very happy. Good luck.
