The only thing that helped me was rest. I bought an Accuquilt, solved the problem. Plus I bought new Martelli cutters although I know some people have trouble with them. You can try Alex's new rotary cutter.

I recently purchased a True-Cut from Hobby Lobby that is switchable from right to left, or in my case from left to right. I am getting to know and like it.

I have never used a stripology ruler, assume it's for cutting strips? If so, I still use the old fashioned way of tearing my fabric. Learned to do that in Home Ec class and have been doing it ever since then.

Have you tried a different brand of rotary cutter? The Martelli Ergo looks like it would use different muscles and tendons to cut? I have never used one except at a quilt show. Sometimes a slight different motion will make a big difference. I am sure you have tried everything. I hope you find relief soon.

Get some help from a doc if you can. I've have tendonitis in both my elbows since 2008. I had surgery on my right one in 2010, much better (not perfect). I had surgery finally on my let one in Feb of this year. It is so much better! Physical therapy didn't do the trick for me, but it's the best option for most people. Also get a band to put around the tendon, it helps a lot. I could not more cut with my non-dominant hand than the man in the moon!
