    I tossed the shoo-fly block idea for my aunts quilt out the window. I just didn't feel like following a pattern, so I've been cutting the fabrics into 2" strips and mis matching them together, so I have a handful of 3 1/2" 2 color fabric strips, and now I'm not sure what to do with them. I was thinking just a strip quilt, but I just don't know...

    Any ideas what to do with my strips?

    I have a bunch more, these are just some of them

    Chinese Coins would look great if you have a fabric to pull all the scraps together.

    You could find light fabrics and cut matching 3-1/2" strips from them, then match them with the ones you've got to make a tube quilt. Here is a link to a website with a video on the tube quilt idea:

    Also think Chinese Coins with white sashing and border would look fabulous. The cover of this book has an example:
