I kinda feel that way with blocks that are the same. I don't think I could make a quilt with all the blocks the same pattern & same fabric. I'd go nuts. I like to see other people's but I just couldn't do it.

I don't consider myself stuck on a pattern yet, but I have made two of some patterns then move on. I feel I learn so much with each new challenge and always looking forward to trying something new.

I once told someone I was a 'one trick pony' when I was stuck on a pattern. She told me, 'If it's a good trick, that is OK' So enjoy all the Take Five you want, it looks like a pretty good 'trick' to me.

There are patterns that I do several times, just not one after another. Most of my quilts are given away, so it really doesn't matter that I am doing the same quilt in different colors. Rigth now, I'm making quilts just to use up the stash that I have, so I use any pattern that will work with the color combos that I have. Hence, my like for scrappy quilts.
By the way, your quilts are lovely.

I am stuck on obw.So, far, I have cut out 5 and figured out that one didn't work well, so I dumped the scraps in the scrap bin. I just finished the first one I cut out. It is a baby quilt made with upholstery fabric. I worked out all the bungs in that one. I will try to load a pictire at some point, but I am hopelessly anti-tech. Can't even get channel 5 on my TV. Or erase songs I am sick of on the MP3 player. Thank goodness I have a tekkie son.

Berni, I don't know if there is a tutorial here on Take Five or not. It is a pattern you have to buy, so I would doubt it.

I don't think I have ever made the same pattern twice but my DILs have both made a Turning Twelve (an abbreviated Turning Twenty) a couple of times.

I have the Take Five but just haven't done it yet.

I think I could do the Jelly Roll 1600 multiple times but I don't let myself buy jelly rolls.

I really like your second quilt.

It is a very nice pattern and your quilts are very pretty, so I don't see a problem. If you enjoy making that pattern---Just go with it! Each quilt is different. Enjoy your quilting.
