You have a great start. First clean off the ironing board, then work on organizing for 30 minutes, then do something you want to do for an hour, then repeat. I love those kitties in your Avatar. You can do it!!

Since you need the space I would gratefully accept a donation of that beautiful stack of purple fabric. LOL
Hard to get nice purple fabric here. Have a few pieces so far but not a lot of pretty choices to choose from. I envy you. You have done a fabulous job so far & your fabric choices are fantastic. Love your colours. Now keep up the good work.

Beautiful fabric collection. I am always reorganizing my fabric. I keep thinking I will find the perfect way to arrange it. Hasn't happened yet. lol

I wish mine was half that organized or half as neat. Just when I think I'm doing well, I go on a shopping spree and I'm all messed up again. I bought about 60 yards on Friday and now I have to figure out how to incorporate all of that into what I already have!

Whenever I get stuck on a project, usually house cleaning, I make myself pick up one thing and do "something" with it - clean it, put it away, throw it away, put in 'garage sale/going away box', etc. So often times I don't see any progress and get discouraged but it is amazing what I seem to get accomplished with the one thing at a time approach.

I love the way it's all folded and in neat piles (easy to move) wish mine were as neat...I am still using scraps from 45 years ago..making clothes for my family...I can only sort, clean, organize so long then I have to make something or I burn out and nothing gets done..still wish I was a neater worker,(sigh)..but I do get things made..

I am currently in the same boat. It started as organizing my scraps, then sorting then trimming. Ultimately trimming in to 1" strips for a fabric wreath. But 2 weekends later I am frustrated there are so many scraps left - darn those elves, why can't they just help? Good luck, what you have organized looks beautiful!

If it is any consolation, yours looks really organized compared to mine. Enjoy what you have done, the inspiration will return.
