I am making dresses for 3 flowergirls for a wedding in October. I am going to have plenty of fabric left so I thought I'd make real simple little purses for each of the girls (18 mos - 2 years - 3 years - yeah, I want to see them walk down that aisle!!) I thought I'd put some things in the purses to keep the girls 'occupied'. An easy one will be pipe cleaners - my kids loved to bend and shape pipe cleaners! Any other suggestions? No candy - those dress have to stay clean! TY~~

YEARS ago i made my neices hankerchief (spelling) dolls. They are easy and quiet to play with and fold (roll) down small. Just a thought.

I get Happy Meals for myself  , and save the toys for my grandkids. You could collect some of those. Also rings, etc, from gumball machines, and leave them in their little bubble holders, so they can open them.
You could probably get tons of things at the Dollar Store.
What a neat idea by the way!!
    :D
Oh - and Barb's 'stash dolls' would be real cute!! She shows how here:

bubble bowing stuff comes in small bottles now. there are tiny board games and such that are sold as key rings

crayons, cootie-catchers, and as mentioned, the kids meal toys. I get the kids meals, too - and leave the toys on the tables at the laundromat for bored kids.
