    Glad to hear. I call it a "sweet spot" when the machine and my hands are moving at optimum speed together. Takes lots of practice and I don't always get there but I keep trying!!

    Sounds like you're getting it, and not giving up. "Practice, practice, practice" is what I always read. It helps some to set their machine sideways -- especially if you don't have much throat space.

    Don't you just love the "ah ha" moment?! I found what works best for me is having the feed dogs down. But if it is working for you with them up, then by all means do it that way! I am finding there are many ways to do the same thing in quilting... Way to go!!!!
