Default Suggestions for all green quilt

Although my DGD loves all the quilts I have made for her, she has asked for an all green quilt (her favorite color). I have plenty of greens on hand -mostly batik FQs and half yards in a variety of values - but I can't come up with any ideas. Her second favorite color is purple and I could incorporate small amounts of that. Suggestions please? And simple is good too! Thanks!

Just a touch of red and yellow, but you could substitute purple for red, lime for yellow.

I did a purple monochromatic quilt in the rail fence pattern, which is fast and easy. It was beautiful. Be sure to use every imaginable shade of green, from those so light they're close to white to those so dark they're close to black, very yellowish greens, very bluish greens, any and every green, and it will sparkle and be gorgeous.

Last year I had to make an all greens quilt for a niece. I found it quite a challenge but the results were great and she Loves it. I used a French Braid pattern. She informed me (" this will be my Forever Quilt- I Love it!")

How about Bonnie Hunters Delectable Mountains pattern? If you have enough lighter greens, it would be great in green. Its under the free patterns tab on her site:

    www.quiltville.com

there may or may not be one in the works at my house...but mine will not be ALL green! I'm just sayin'.....

This weekend's VQW has a purple quilt of diagonal rectangles if you substituted a pale, pale green for the white you'd have your all green quilt.
