I have been working on wool felt applique. It is a lot of fun. It also incorporates embroidery stitches.

THANK YOU so much for the wonderful ideas! In the past couple of days, I've purchased embroidery stuff, appliqué, wool felting, some more paper piecing supplies. I've never done a cathedral windows quilt, and remembered a stack already started that belonged to my grandma - she must have started them in the early eighties - I puled those out of the back of the closet. I drive to Georgia tomorrow and everything is packed in the car.

I appreciate the suggestions and kind words. LOVED the crazy quilt picture.

embroidery is always a good time passer for me. Such as embroidery on Sun Bonnet Sue's Bonnet and dresses.
