    I agree, just use white, or white-on-white prints for the sashing. If you use a busy print for your sashes, you might lose your pinwheels in the overall design. This is a perfect layout for a scrappy quilt. It's a sort of showcase of fabrics from this era for folks who might be looking at it years and years from now.
