Default Sullivans Protector Sewing Machine Travel Trolley Hard Case

    Hello -

I just got back from being out sewing again. I normally use a extra-large LL Bean bag to carry my machine. I thought I finally decided ok that's it... I'm going to get a Tutto. When I saw this Sullivans protector sewing machine travel trolley hard case. I have a Janome 3160QDC for travel, so I'd need the medium tutto and this is about the same size. I like the fact this one has padded. Has anyone bought one of these? Any experience with them?

I haven't pulled the trigger on the Tutto, b/c right now I can tuck the machine in the back right behind my seat and it works great, doesn't budge. I have a SUV and I was thinking I'd have to find a way to strap it in. I don't want it flying around my open back area.

    Thanks!

    Rose

I love all my Tuttos. Not sure where you are looking for one, but Walmart.com has the best price with no shipping. The one they sell is the large which you could use even though the Tutto chart says your machine only needs a medium. There are straps inside that will hold your machine snug and have a little more room for stuff. I just got one for half price at joann.com. Since they are on sale you may have to pay shipping unless you can locate a free shipping coupon. They are also showing the medium for $15 less. There is only an inch difference between the two sizes. I would go with Walmart in case you dont like it and can return it. Joann stores dont do .com returns. I love the 2 I have. So easy to maneuver.

Hmmm... the 7 cent shipping and on sale looks good for the tutto. I'm going to go query the ladies at sewing today. I hadn't thought of buying a slightly larger one.
