I just stay in when it's hot, and sew away! I do tend to do hand quilting in the cooler months, however.

well, it was a heat wave this week, 92 degrees. For some reason, I not only had the urge to sit at the machine every afternoon, but I was sewing flannel quilts. Go figure. Must have been heat stroke..lol...but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...got 2 tops done in 3 days...

rainy and cool has to be Alaska; because it hasn't been cool or rainy here for weeks.

It's been pretty cool around here lately too. I've been sleeping with a quilt every night (when DH has ceiling fan running)
My toes are cold right now!!!

It hit 101 hear today.I haven't touched the sewing machine in days. I need to finish a top to take to Knoxville next week. No energy when it's this hot. I'm also spending my summer driving my 2 DD's to work. Between the 2 of them, 125 miles a day. Not much time to quilt if I had the energy.
