Two of my favorite Sue books are"A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF SUNBONNET SUE'' and "ONCE UPON A POSIE". I used the food type Sues to make a small tableclothe for kitchen table. The year one I make for welcome quilts on the front door. I'm working on April now but have made most of the rest. I do change the pattern to suit me tho--Marchs is basketball that I made ST.Patricks day instead. "gotta love Sue"

This is a pic of a subsume that I made for a charity quilt. I used a meandering FMCG and then appliqués sue over that using either zig zag or buttonhole stitch. Not as easy as I thought it would be but not knowing what kind of usage it would get, I wanted sue to stay on.

I have not looked up her age..but my MIL made a SBS for her oldest D. when she was a baby..That DD past away last year. she was 82.. She has been around long time and gets quite interesting at different times Sam also was on this baby quilt! Most ideas recycle every 20 years or so. "Nothing new under the sun" and yet everything can be new as we discover the paths of life..life is such an adventure!
