Went and looked at your blog----loved it! Also went to the town blog---makes me want to visit. I also live in a small town (pop. 1200), but yours looks so interesting.

This is so cute! I looked at the whole quilt and every block is equally sweet. What a great quilt for a little girl.

It's right there. I went right to it. Must say the quilt is beautiful. I love any Sunbonnet Sue pattern. I also like the dancer quilt that is posted there too.

Darling blocks--look like a lot of fun to make. That is why we should keep scraps--- to make Sun Bonnet Sue blocks. Great apliquee work.

Always machine. Life is too short to hand applique although I admire those who do.

The Sunbonnet Sues are not machine embroidered. I use satin stitch on an ordinary sewing machine to applique the fabric shapes onto the background.
