    Default Superior Monopoly thread

I bought Superior Monopoly thread to use in the bobbin of my sewing machine while I quilt. I am stumped on how to find the end of the thread on the spool. Is this some secret I don't know? I'm frustrated at this point so any help would save my day.

I've had that problem with thread several times. You're right that it is frustrating. I usually pick around gently with a pin until I find the end.

Superior usually has a little notch at the bottom of a cone or spool. The problem with MonoPoly is it is So fine and clear that it's impossible to see--magnifying class helps!

Took me forever to find it...like Dunster, I used a pin and poked around until I found a loose-ish thread. It sure tried my patience but it was worth it in the end.

There is a little notch in the bottom of the spool, the end is through that notch and secured under the sticker on the spool bottom.
