Supreme Slider, SewSlip, Oven Liner
#13
Just a hint.. In a pinch, I was at a retreat and wanted to FMQ. The fabric was dragging. Finally another quilter came over and showed me a cheap short cut. She took a piece of unwashed fabric and really polished my table top hard. I swear it was as slick as can be after that. Now that is all I use. Just saying in a pinch it is something to try. I know that fabric is really filthy before washing. Have you ever looked at your gloves used for quilting after using them. Mine are the color of the fabric and dirty. By the way when they get looking bad I just throw them in the washing machine with my other clothes.. They look pretty good until I quilt again.

I don't understand buying the oven liner, buying the tape to stick it all down, and having all that to deal with (some have to remove it to change bobbins) when I can buy the made for the purpose product to begin with. Sometimes making do is sensible sometimes it's silly.
