Sometimes the slider collects lint and threads. I've had to wipe mine down with a wet cloth to renew the "tackiness".

I recently bought the larger one after I sewed trough my smaller version. Although I was able to put some tape on the back of the ripped one and it worked for awhile, it then began to catch my quilting so I had to buy the larger.

I love this product, it is so much easier for me to slide under the machine but I'm sure to tape all four corners down to make sure it stays in place and I don't sew through it. It was an expensive lesson to learn.

I bought mine years ago, never had any luck with it. I used it on an acrylic extension, maybe I will try it again and tape it down. I only have trouble with my quilts getting caught on the round corners of the extension. Doesn't seem to matter if it came with the machine or not.
I just have to remember to keep the quilt free.

Other than my sewing machine my very best purchase! I tried for years to free motion, just couldn't do it. I bought the Supreme Slider at a quilt show, because it was slippery it let me move my quit sandwich easily & the rhythm of free motion clicked in my brain, I eventually wore it out & realized I no longer needed it, free motion became easy.
I'll always be grateful to it!

I bought mine a few years ago and don't like it. I used it a few times but just don't like it. I have heard of people using Turtle car wax on their tables but I haven't tried it so i don't know how well it would work.

A friend of mine just bought a couple of silicone baking sheets at a garage sale that looked like new. She uses them. Work like a charm.

I love mine. I have the larger one. It make the quilt sandwich easier to move around. You can rinse it under water when the back gets linty and it will stick fine again.

I wouldn't even think of free motioning without mine. I did buy the off brand one first but sewed right through it once it had linted up and didn't stick well. I've since learned to wipe it down with a baby wipe every time I lift it up off the table surface. Sticks like glue and no tape for me.
