    I have one, but haven't used it much to form an opinion yet. I did get some advice on covering th feed dogs instead of dropping them, it was said to give a more uniform stitch. I haven't tried that yet either....

    Yes, a silicon mat really helps slide the fabric smoothly. Queen size and there are other good brands besides the Supreme Slider.
