Something good or really unexpected usually happens to me. I think it's because I expect good and fun things to come my way. Sometimes my friends will say what just happened ? Can you believe this? What do you mean that man just gave us two tow sacks of corn? She had that in the back of the shop? We always have an adventure even just meeting for lunch.
What is a tow sack of corn? (can you tell I am city bred? )

Funny story. I was early waiting for my friends in a parking lot for lunch. A guy was there with large burlap bags (tow sacks) of unhusked corn on the cob in the bed of his truck. His old truck was like the one my grandfather use to have and I told him his truck made me smile. He said it belonged to his father and now his I asked him if that was corn from a well known farm a few hours away. He said yes he was there to bring pre sold orders to be picked up. I asked if he had extra to sell. He said no, it's all paid for and should be picked up. A few minutes later he came over to me and said a customer called and cannot come get the corn she ordered and he wasn't coming back to this area. He said it was already paid for and I could have it. I put the two big sacks of corn in my car and when I told my friends I had corn from the farm to share they couldn't believe it. One was more excited to have the big burlap bag with the farm logo on it.

I'd call that a "delicious" story!
And now I know what a tow sack is.
My husband grew up in a rural area and he always says "sweet corn" whereas I say "corn on the cob". One time my city-bred self asked him "sweet corn? What other kind is there"? To which he replied "cow corn". Who knew?

I got several great jobs by talking to strangers. They would say my company is looking for someone and you would be a good fit. You never know what will happen when you start a conversation . I got my long term job with pension by talking to the clerk while paying my electric bill. Just open mouth and let happy words come out..
