    Default Surprise! quilt

I made this in honor of my grandson's 1st birthday. It consists of 12 blocks that have envelope type flaps with different patterns inside. I've included a few pics of the inside of blocks and the over all quilt. It was fun to make and hope he uses it for years to come. This was my first quilt on my new Nolting longarm and am pretty satisfied with the results.

Sweet! Lots of color and envelope flaps to hold the interest of a little one! You did a beautiful job with your first longarmmed quilt! Congratulations!

Oh how sweet! He is going to have many hours of fun with your quilt. Your quilting turned out great too! Your photos are helpful to see the flaps up close. Thank you!

Did you put interfacing in the flaps?
